All those years of ageing in a combination of first-fill sherry seasoned European and American oak casks, and bourbon casks, in Highland Park’s temperate Orkney climate, has resulted in a whisky with immense depth and vibrant sweetness. This full-bodied single malt has a rich and nutty spiciness, balanced out with sweet dried fruits, toffee and fudge. It’s been named “Best spirit in the world” by famed whisky writer Paul Pacult in the Spirit Journal.
